Premier Smith reveals Alberta’s new addiction facility plans – February 24, 2025

Alberta Premier Danielle Smith announces her government’s plan for building new addiction treatment facilities.

She is joined at the news conference in Calgary by Dan Williams (minister of mental health and addiction), Leon Littlelight (minor chief of the Tsuut’ina First Nation), Earl Thiessen (executive director of Oxford House), and Amy Schiffner (parent of an adult struggling with addiction).
