Paddling Film Festival – Kamloops premiere

Join us for the Kamloops premiere of Paddling Film Festival at the Paramount Theatre on Friday, Feb. 28.

This event is a partnership between the TRU Students’ Union and Thompson Rivers Interior Paddle Sports Club.

Details

  • Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
  • Movie starts at 6:30 p.m.

Join us early to buy beers and participate in the prize draws.

Tickets are ten dollars for TRU students and fifteen dollars for general admission.

Proceeds from the ticket sales are shared as a fundraiser for the Thompson Rivers Interior Paddle Sports Club and TRU Foundation to fund an award for TRU Students in the Adventure Program.

Following the screening, we will be giving away exciting door prizes including gift cards to local adventure related shops.

The Paddling Film Festival has been showcasing the very best paddling films from around the world since 2006. This celebrated event inspires audiences to explore rivers, lakes, and oceans while pushing their limits and discovering new adventures. Through its carefully curated films, it highlights the beauty of wild and remote places, encourages environmental stewardship, and celebrates the paddling lifestyle, from thrilling expeditions to serene journeys.
