Trump Tariff Threat: Saskatchewan Premier proposes sending troops to the border – February 3, 2025

U.S. President Donald Trump has announced a pause for tariffs against Mexico, as that country announced they will send 10,000 troops to their border with the U.S.

For Saskatchewan Premier Scott Moe, the move represents an “opportunity (for Canada) to do more.” Watch his interview with CPAC’s Michael Serapio.

(This interview was recorded before Prime Minister Trudeau announced proposed tariffs would be paused for at least 30 days.)
