South Sudanese flag colour jewelry making

Join TRU student and intercultual ambassador, “Anzoa” Madelene Kajusa (she/her) who will be guiding participants in making bracelets with the South Sudanese flag colours while teaching us about the history, culture, and geography of South Sudan.

She is a first-generation South Sudanese Canadian and her roots are from the Ma’di people of South Sudan.

She will share her experience living in the diaspora and the issues facing the South Sudanese community.

Cultural snacks will be provided.
