Federal officials provide update on efforts to replace Phoenix pay system – January 22, 2025

In Ottawa, representatives from Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) and the Treasury Board Secretariat provide a third update on the government’s efforts to replace the problem-plagued Phoenix pay system for the federal public service.

Speaking with reporters are Alex Benay, associate deputy minister at PSPC, and Francis Trudel, associate chief HR officer at the Treasury Board Secretariat.
