The Kamloops Storm came out flat and it cost them in a 3-1 loss at home to the Quesnel River Rush on Sunday. Quesnel led 2-0 after one period and held that lead through two periods. Ryan Larsen put the Storm on the board in the third period but couldn’t get any closer as the River Rush added an empty net marker to seal the win. Brenner Fyfe stopped 27 of 28 shots he faced. Kamloops went 1 for 4 on their power play while Quesnel went 1 for 3.
