Ford threatens to cut off energy to the U.S.: strategy panel – December 12, 2024

Ontario Premier Doug Ford is firm on his threat to withhold energy exports from the United States if his province is slapped with heavy tariffs. U.S. President-Elect Donald Trump has answered the threat, saying it would be “fine” if Ontario imposed these restrictions, but added the United States should not be subsidizing a whole country. CPAC’s Michael Serapio discusses Ford’s comments, as well as the latest news on the Hill, with strategists Susan Smith (Liberal), Cole Hogan (Conservative) and George Soule (NDP).
