14:00 NT / 12:30 ET: Premiers François Legault and Andrew Furey make an energy announcement

At a news conference in St. John’s, N.L., François Legault, the premier of Quebec, and Andrew Furey, the premier of Newfoundland and Labrador, are expected to announce a partnership related to hydroelectric power generation. Also in attendance at this announcement are Christine Fréchette, Quebec’s minister of economy, innovation and energy; Andrew Parsons, Newfoundland and Labrador’s minister of industry, energy and technology; and Jennifer Williams, the president and CEO of Newfoundland and Labrador Hydro.
