Min. Blair on Canada being singled out for not meeting its NATO commitments – November 25, 2024

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau defended his government’s defence spending Monday, expressing confidence that Canada will catch up on its NATO commitments and devote two per cent of its GDP to this sector by 2032. This happened after criticism been raised nationally and within NATO towards Canada and its defence investments.

CPAC’s Michael Serapio addressed those concerns with Defense Minister Bill Blair at the 2024 Halifax International Security Forum.
