Alberta Social Services Minister Jason Nixon announces a new initiative aimed at reducing the build time for new housing. The ‘Stop Housing Delays’ online portal will allow developers, municipalities and other housing partners to report on any red tape or unnecessary home-building delays they feel are slowing down new residential construction projects.

He is joined at the news conference in Calgary by Kalen Anderson, CEO of BILD Edmonton Metro, Scott Fash, CEO of BILD Alberta, and Brian Hahn, CEO of BILD Calgary Region.
