Anti-discrimination Response: Bystander Intervention and Active Witnessing by Dr. Kyra Garson

In our work and lives we often encounter various forms of bias or discrimination. 

We may be the receiver, the offender or a witness. 

In this session we will consider our responsibilities to ensure a harassment free learning and working environment. 

Using elements of Ishuyama’s Anti-discrimination Response Training (ART), we will explore the dynamics of witnessing and consider a range of responses using bystander intervention models with a focus on safety and respect for those involved.
