Anti-discrimination Response: Bystander Intervention and Active Witnessing by Dr. Kyra Garson

October 31, 2024 at 9:21 am  Education, Kamloops, News

In our work and lives we often encounter various forms of bias or discrimination.

We may be the receiver, the offender or a witness.

In this session we will consider our responsibilities to ensure a harassment free learning and working environment.

Using elements of Ishuyama’s Anti-discrimination Response Training (ART), we will explore the dynamics of witnessing and consider a range of responses using bystander intervention models with a focus on safety and respect for those involved.
