Environment Canada discusses heat waves of summer 2024 – October 25, 2024

Representatives of Environment and Climate Change Canada hold a virtual press conference to discuss results from the rapid extreme weather event attribution system, which shows the link between high-heat weather events and human-caused climate change.

Officials are also discussing the 37 hottest heat waves that impacted 17 regions across the country this summer.
