TRU Williams Lake Open House highlights education and community connections
WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. – Thompson Rivers University’s (TRU) Williams Lake hosts its annual Open House on Tuesday, Oct. 22, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., providing a welcoming opportunity for prospective students, families and community members to explore the campus and discover what the campus has to offer.
This year’s event includes interactive displays, campus tours, door prizes and booths featuring TRU programs, and local community vendors. Visitors can meet faculty, ask questions about programs and explore the resources available to support students.
“Our Open House is a great way for people to connect with us and see firsthand what studying at TRU Williams Lake looks like,” said Kim Kimberlin, marketing, student recruitment and events co-ordinator.
“We want to make it easy for people to explore their options, whether they’re thinking about starting a new program or just curious about what’s happening on campus.”
Attendees can take guided tours to get an inside look at the facilities and participate in hands-on demos and booths that showcase the unique learning experiences at TRU Williams Lake. Community vendors will also be on site, reinforcing the connections between TRU and the broader Williams Lake community.
