Liberals react to Bloc's demands for government's survival – September 25, 2024

Ministers and Liberal MPs speak with reporters on Parliament Hill as the federal party holds its weekly caucus meeting.
Karina Gould (government House leader), Mark Holland (health) and Steven Guilbeault (environment) face questions on the Bloc Quebecois’ policy demands to ensure the survival of the minority Liberal government. Earlier in the day, Bloc Québécois Leader Yves-François Blanchet demanded “irreversible implementation” by October 29 of Bloc private members bills C-319 (Old Age Security) and C-282 (supply management) to prevent the defeat of the government.
