Starting soon: Rohingya advocates call on Canada for support

Senator Marilou McPhedran holds a news conference in Ottawa alongside a visiting delegation of young Rohingya women. The group is calling on the Canadian government to assist the Rohingya people as they continue to flee the civil war in Myanmar.

Speaking with reporters are Yasmin Ullah and Noor Azizah of the Rohingya Maìyafuìnor Collaborative Network, as well as Senator McPhedran, Inter Pares executive director Sam McGavin, and University of Ottawa Professor John Packer.
