Fair Employment Week (FEW) is an annual event in Canada to raise awareness and support for contract academic staff (CAS) working in post-secondary institutions.

Organized by the Canadian Association of University Teachers (CAUT) and its member associations, FEW aims to highlight the challenges contract academic staff face—such as job insecurity, lack of benefits, and inequitable pay—and advocate for fairer employment practices within the educational sector.

When: Monday, Oct.21 to Friday, Oct. 25, 2024.
