Business groups urge govt to intervene in potential Air Canada pilots strike – September 12, 2024

At a news conference in Ottawa, a number of business lobby groups urge the federal government to intervene in a potential strike by Air Canada pilots, who could walk off the job as early as next week.

Speaking with reporters are representatives from the Canadian Chamber of Commerce, the Business Council of Canada, the Canadian Federation of Independent Businesses, Conseil du patronat du Québec, and the Tourism Industry Association of Ontario.
