MONTREAL — Jagmeet Singh and the NDP MPs have gathered in Montreal to undertake planning and policy work in preparation for the fall sitting of parliament, and they’re kicking it off with a message that Conservatives cuts can be stopped before they start if progressive and working Canadians unite.

In a new ad called “Dream No Little Dreams,” Singh encourages Canadians to think big about working together.

With that hope in mind, the NDP caucus planning session will focus on the vision Jagmeet and the NDP are going to present to Canadians to form the first NDP federal government and beat Pierre Poilievre in the next election.

“Cynics will say that big problems can’t be solved. Some will say that Canada will do what Canada always does—go from Liberal government to Conservative government and back again, and things just get a little worse each time,” said Singh. “But I believe it’s time for hope that, together, we can create change. We can offer people relief.

“Our message is for working folks, middle class families and anyone who does not want to see the Conservatives let back into the prime minister’s office to enact their agenda of deep cuts: If we’re together, nothing is impossible.”
