Help us prepare for two important marches on Wednesday, Sept. 25!

We will be meeting on Monday, Sept. 23 from 1 – 3:30 p.m. in HOL 204.

We will be making signs for Take Back the Night, a global initiative that raises awareness about the ongoing issue of sexual and domestic violence and the TRUSU Pride Parade which is an annual march in support for and solidarity of the Kamloops and broader 2SLGBTQPIA+ community.

In addition, we will be showcasing The Stroll (2023) which is a documentary about trans* sex workers in New York City’s Meatpacking District.

The film refers to violence, policing and gentrification themes that may be activating for some viewers.
