Windspeaker | Mohawk professor receives prestigious accolade from Royal Society of Canada

Dr. Rod McCormick, a member of the Mohawk (Kanien’kéha) First Nation and a professor and BC Innovation Chair in Indigenous Health, is among 104 new Fellows recognized by the Royal Society of Canada for scholarly achievements. “It’s nice to get this recognition towards the end of my career,” said McCormick, who is in his twelfth year of teaching at TRU.
