During an announcement of over 1,500 new units of student housing, Premier David Eby challenged John Rustad to answer questions about the extreme views of his candidates.
Rustad’s Prince George-Mackenzie candidate Rachel Weber shared a bizarre conspiracy theory calling 5G cell towers “genocidal weapons.”
Just days ago his Stikine candidate praised anti-vax convoy leaders currently on criminal trial as “an inspiration.”
Paul Ratchford called people who are gay “groomers” and “perverts.”
Rustad had also previously nominated Dr. Stephen Malthouse, who claimed vaccines turned you into a magnet.
Video of Eby’s comments is available here.
