Beem Credit Union and the Chris Rose Therapy Centre for Autism are thrilled to announce that the Moonlight Movie Tour will be making a stop in Kamloops on Friday, August 23, 2024, and you’re invited!

Kung Fu Panda 4 will be screened on a giant inflatable screen under the starry sky. Arrive early to secure prime viewing spots and participate in the exciting family-friendly pre-show activities. A concession stand will be open to satisfy your cravings and quench your thirst. While attendance is free, a suggested donation of $3 per person or $10 per family will go a long way in supporting the Chris Rose Therapy Centre for Autism.

“We’re delighted to partner with Beem Credit Union and to be a part of the Moonlight Movie Tour. Proceeds from this event will help to provide the children and youth that attend the Centre the intensive therapeutic programming they require, such as life skills, music therapy and speech language therapy,” says Wanda Eddy, executive director of the Chris Rose Therapy Centre for Autism Society.

“We are thrilled to bring the magic of the Moonlight Movie Tour back to our communities this summer,” said Brian Harris, CEO of Beem Credit Union. “This event is not just about enjoying a great movie under the stars; it’s about rallying together to support the incredible work of our local non-profits. By attending, you become an integral part of a movement that strengthens the fabric of our communities. Since 2010, we have proudly raised over $210,000 to empower our community partners and their tireless efforts to create positive change. The merger between Interior Savings and Gulf & Fraser in January 2024 has opened up new horizons, allowing Beem to bring the joy of movies and the power of support to even more communities across the province. Together, we are building a brighter future, one movie night at a time.”

Gates open at 6:00 PM, and the film begins at dusk. Remember to bring cash for admission and concession stand treats, as well as lawn chairs and blankets for maximum comfort.
