Sue Decker’s rich and warm voice, distinctive slide guitar playing, and authentic songwriting make for a powerful combination. Ever since learning to play guitar in a bluegrass jam at the age of thirty-five, Sue has been discovering her truth in song. These days, her music inhabits the borderlands where blues, folk, country, and soul meet.

March 2024 saw the release of Sue’s second album, Keeping Time, to international acclaim. She collaborated with sought-after roots producer Steve Dawson to record in Nashville. “The comparisons Decker draws with the great Lucinda Williams and Bonnie Raitt are far from misplaced…brilliant, not to be missed at any cost.” ~ Paris Move

Sue is delighted to return to her hometown for this show featuring Vancouver Island native Gavin Hodgins, who adds vocal harmonies and weaves eclectic influences into his bluesy guitar and mandolin playing
