Instead of shingles and tar paper, TRU is repairing a green roof on campus with native grasses and drought-tolerant shrubs. “We want to find a solution that could last several years that we can showcase to the rest of the community on how they can actually do something to help mitigate, or reduce, the effects of climate change,” says science faculty member Dr. Sandra Jasinoski.
