Heat wave sets stage for wildfire as possible thunderstorms ahead for Kamloops region – TRU Newsroom

While a heat wave in the region is tapering off thanks to the introduction of a cold front, fuels have been left dry as a bone in time for the arrival of possible thunderstorms. Wildfire expert Dr. Mike Flannigan says the “stage is set” for active fires. Read more
