TRU School of Nursing – TRU Newsroom

Thank you to the donor of the month, TRU School of Nursing (SON). In February, they picked a wellness-related theme called “Straight from The Heart.” One of the activities for the month was to send candygrams with fun messages to classmates and colleagues. This was done by donation with proceeds going to the Owyn McInnis Memorial Fund. Hundreds of candygrams were sent and the SON raised a total of $743.90, which was matched by the TRU Foundation, for a total donation of $1487.80. Members of the SON Wellness Committee presented the proceeds to TRU WolfPack volleyball players Madison Maichin (second year BSN student) and Matthew Hamilton.
