OTTAWA -The Green Party of Canada announces the launch of ‘Today, Tomorrow, Together: The Green Leaders’ Tour’. The tour will take Elizabeth May and  Jonathan Pedneault on an ambitious journey across Canada. From the Atlantic shores to the Pacific waves, and into the heart of the North, the two will connect with Canadians in every part of the country.

“We’re hitting the road to hear directly from Canadians. We want to listen, and to bring their voices and concerns into the heart of our work,” said party leader Elizabeth May. “It’s about understanding each community’s challenges, and working together toward a brighter future.”

“This is not a series of photo opportunities,” emphasized deputy leader Jonathan Pedneault. “We want to unite Canadians around common goals that will make us stronger. Having that shared vision will help us navigate the challenges we’re facing now, and the ones we know are coming.”

‘Today, Tomorrow, Together: The Green Leaders’ Tour’ will kick off in Guelph on Friday, February 16th, at 6:00 PM with a town hall meeting at the Royal City Mission. The event will feature special guests, including MP Mike Morrice, MPP Mike Schreiner, and newly elected MPP Aislinn Clancy.

Following the kick-off in Guelph, the tour will continue with events in Durham, Kitchener, and Toronto, followed by a series of stops in British Columbia. Over the coming months, the leaders will visit Manitoba, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, the Northwest Territories, Quebec, Alberta, and Newfoundland.
