SDGs and Global Super Snacks – TRU Newsroom

Help TRU take action on the United Nations’ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and get a free lunch!

TRU is looking for help from students, staff and faculty to inform what actions it can take for each of the seventeen SDG‘s during an event called SDG’s and Global Super Snacks.

When: Thursday, Mar. 7, 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Where: Campus Activity Centre, Grand Hall 

Seats are limited, so a ticket is required to attend.

Participants will enjoy sweet and savory snacks from countries across the world with the other nine members of their table, and then work to identify one or two important and realistic action items about an SDG that can be brought to life at TRU over the next one to three years.

Each of the seventeen tables will represent one of the SDGs, and each table will be led by a subject-area expert in that SDG.
