Kamloops, BC – The BC Interior Community Foundation (BCICF) is pleased to announce that it will be taking over the Kamloops This Week (KTW) Christmas Cheer campaign following the closure of the newspaper. BCICF has been working with KTW and actively accepting donations for this heartwarming campaign since 2021.

The Christmas Cheer campaign has been a cherished tradition in the Kamloops community for many years, ensuring the continued support of charities serving our community. BCICF is honored to carry on this tradition and is committed to upholding its legacy of generosity and community spirit.

BCICF is a non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the quality of life in the region by facilitating charitable giving, creating lasting legacy funds, and investing in people, projects, and programs. This campaign aligns perfectly with our mission, as we believe in the power of collective generosity to make our community a better place for all.

In the spirit of Christmas, BCICF invites individuals and businesses to continue their support of the Christmas Cheer campaign. Donations can be made securely online through our website or by contacting our office directly. Your generosity will enable us to brighten the lives of local families who need it most during the holiday season.

“We are excited to carry forward the tradition of the Kamloops This Week Christmas Cheer campaign and bring holiday joy to those in need. The closure of the newspaper has not diminished the spirit of giving in our community, and we are committed to making this year’s campaign a resounding success,” said Wenda Noonan, executive director of BCICF.

BCICF extends its gratitude to the people and businesses of the region who have already shown their support for this campaign and invites others to join in creating a meaningful and memorable holiday season for everyone in the community.
