Statement from MLA Parmar on expansion of Telus cell network through Highway 14
“I am pleased to learn that Telus has expanded its network coverage along Highway 14, spanning from Sooke to Port Renfrew.
“This commendable move comes after the successful completion of seven cell towers across the corridor, a collaborative effort funded by the Province in partnership with Rogers Communication.
“It’s always encouraging to see more service providers recognizing the importance of this stretch and stepping up to enhance connectivity for our community.
“A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to meet with representatives from Telus. The meeting was primarily focused on echoing the concerns of my constituents who expressed the need for enhanced network coverage in the region. It is heartening to note that Telus not only listened but also acted promptly in response to the community’s needs.
“I commend Telus for their proactive approach and commitment to serving our community better. Such initiatives not only improve connectivity but also contribute significantly to the region’s safety and overall development.”
