On the Greenstone Trails – Kamloops Trails
In 2022 I have been exploring various trails on Greenstone Mountain. I returned to do some of the known mountain biking trails on the northeast flank. We hiked the Take it Easy Trail to the Boneyard, then went over the ridge and down to Pyle Driver (thanks to Taylor Pyle) back to the start.
The area has open douglas fir forest with good single track trails.
There is a maze of trails to navigate, so its best to use an app or carry a map.
We wound our way west to a viewpoint, then took a steeper, more direct trail back. Each time we hike the area, we seem to take a different route.
There was no one else in the area on a cool fall day.
This has become a favorite area for hiking and we will be back to continue our explorations in winter, on snowshoes.
