Hiking the Abbey Road Hills

Hiking the Abbey Road Hills

Doug Smith  May 1, 2022 at 9:00 am

At the end of Abbey Road (west of Kamloops) an access road for the Gasline runs through the hills.    There are a number of possible routes through the rocky hills, some following old double tracks and an occasional single track, but the forest and the hillsides are fairly open so we can pick our own routes, respecting fencelines and posted signage, leaving no track as we explore.

The day was grey, windy, and had scattered showers, but I stayed dry and enjoyed the hike.

Each time I hike the area I take a different route, enjoying small discoveries along the way. Click an image for a lightbox view and a caption.
