Four Brothers Panoramas - Kamloops Trails

Four Brothers Panoramas – Kamloops Trails

We camped in Manning Park and did some of the hikes into alpine areas.    We hiked to Third Brother Mountain on a fine day and took many photographs along the way.    On our drive up Blackwall Peak, we stopped at a lookout for the view.

While we up on the slopes of Big Buck Mountain, we had a direct view of the dual peaks of Hozomeen Mountain.    It is across the border overlooking Ross Lake.

In the distance to the west we had a good view to Silvertip Mountain in the Cascade Mountains in B.C.

From Second Brother Mountain we had views of a series of mountain ranges with the Four Brothers Range in front.   Farther west are the Hozomeen Range, then the Skagit Range.

We could also see northeast into the Interior, southeast into the Pasayten Wilderness, south to the border peaks and the North Cascades beyond, and to the various peaks in Manning Park.

We will be back to Manning Park next year to do more hiking into the alpine zones in the Cascade Mountains.
