A special parliamentary committee has recommended that Canada not expand medical assistance in dying (MAID) to people whose sole underlying condition is a mental illness. While the report is not binding on the government, it could influence the national conversation on MAID. Marc-André speaks with Krista Carr, CEO of Inclusion Canada, about the committee’s findings and what they mean for people with disabilities and their families.
