Le premier ministre Mark Carney est arrivé à Évian-les-Bains, en France, où il participe au sommet du G7. Cette rencontre se tient au lendemain de l’annonce par le président américain Donald Trump d’une entente qui, selon lui, pourrait mettre fin au conflit entre les États-Unis et l’Iran. Pour discuter des enjeux du sommet et des dossiers qui seront abordés par les dirigeants, Marc-André Cossette reçoit Stéphane Dion, ancien envoyé spécial du premier ministre auprès de l’Union européenne et de l’Europe, ancien ambassadeur du Canada en Allemagne, puis en France et à Monaco.
