MPs speak with reporters on Parliament Hill as they convene for the daily question period in the House of Commons.

Prime Minister Mark Carney briefly comments on the Parti Québecois’ vow to withdraw Quebec from the Alto high-speed rail project if it wins the next provincial election.

Conservative public safety critic Frank Caputo discusses the government’s “lawful access” bill (C-22), which would give police and intelligence agencies easier access to Canadians’ digital information.

Bloc Québécois MP Patrick Bonin and Conservative MP Pierre Paul-Hus also take questions.
