National AI strategy, reports of tensions in Liberal caucus – June 4, 2026

MPs speak with reporters on Parliament Hill as they convene for the daily question period in the House of Commons.

NDP MP Don Davies comments on the Liberal government’s newly announced national AI strategy.

Minister Marc Miller (Canadian identity and culture) as well as Liberal MPs Doug Eyolfson, Élisabeth Brière, Sean Casey, Jean-Yves Duclos, Anthony Housefather and Ryan Turnbull face questions on a Toronto Star report on tensions within their party caucus.

Miller also speaks about addressing anti-Black racism.

Conservative MP Mark Strahl is asked about CUSMA trade talks with the Trump administration.
