Pallium Canada calls on federal government to invest in palliative care – May 29, 2026

At a news conference on Parliament Hill, Pallium Canada calls on the federal government to invest $300 million over five years to support its Palliative Care Training Standard for Long-Term Care Campaign.

Speaking are Jeffrey Moat (CEO, Pallium Canada), Dr. Amit Arya (palliative care physician), Miranda Romanowicz (CEO, Canadian Support Workers Association), Michael Sangster (CEO, National Association of Career Colleges) and Penny Gagnon (chief advisor, Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities).
