Industry Minister Joly announces results of Canada Impact+ Research Training Awards – May 28, 2026

Industry Minister Mélanie Joly holds a news conference at the University of Ottawa to announce the first wave of results for a new initiative to support the recruitment of top international research talent.

She is joined by MP Maggie Chi, and Anne-Marie Thompson, vice-president of research grants and scholarships at the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC).
