Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi is in Canada for a three-day visit, the first by a Chinese foreign minister in a decade, meeting with Foreign Minister Anita Anand and Prime Minister Mark Carney as Ottawa works to recalibrate its relationship with Beijing. The visit comes as Canada seeks a more pragmatic approach to China amid economic uncertainty and ongoing security concerns. Vina Nadjibulla of the Asia-Pacific Foundation of Canada joins Marc-André Cossette to discuss the significance of the visit and what it means for Canada-China relations.
