Vision health coalition holds a news conference on Parliament Hill – May 27, 2026

The Vision Health Partners’ Coalition (VHPC) holds a news conference on Parliament Hill to call on the federal government to fund implementation of Canada’s National Strategy for Eye Care (Bill C-284), which received royal assent in November 2024.

Speaking are Jennifer Urosevic (president and CEO, Vision Loss Rehabilitation Canada), Leslie Yee (vice president, Canadian Council of the Blind) and Elisabeth Fowler (CEO, Canadian Ophthalmological Society).
