MPs speak with reporters on Parliament Hill as they convene for the daily question period in the House of Commons.

Minister Gary Anandasangaree (public safety) and Conservative Dane Lloyd speak about concerns being raised by tech companies regarding Bill C-22, the federal government’s legislation on lawful access.

Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre comments on a newly announced deal that could see Germany import up to one million tonnes per year of liquefied natural gas from the Ksi Lisims LNG facility in B.C.

Conservative MPs David Bexte, Laila Goodridge. Blake Richards and Poilievre are asked about the Alberta separatist movement.

Minister François-Philippe Champagne (finance), Liberal MPs Rob Oliphant and Lori Idlout, former environment minister Catherine McKenna and Poilievre comment Steven Guilbeault’s plan to resign as an MP later in the summer.
