EU lawmakers hold a news conference in Ottawa – May 26, 2026

The vice-chairs of the European Parliament Committee on Security and Defence hold a news conference on Parliament Hill. Riho Terras (vice-chair, SEDE committee), Ludek Niedermayer (vice-chair, ECON committee) and Javier Moreno Sánchez (chair of the delegation for relations with Canada) are currently visiting Ottawa to enhance Canada and EU partnership in defence and economic security.
