In Ottawa, Indigenous leaders from Nevada demand action from the Canadian federal government to ensure that Canadian-owned mining projects respect Indigenous land rights abroad.

Speaking are Mary Gibson (executive director, Noowuh Knowledge Center), Fermina Stevens (executive director, Western Shoshone Defence Project), Mark Dummett (head of Amnesty International’s global business and human rights team) and Ketty Nivyabandi (secretary general, Amnesty International Canada).
