Canadian Health Coalition reacts to Alberta Bill 11 – May 5, 2026

At a press conference on Parliament Hill, members of the Canadian Health Coalition react to the passing of Alberta’s Bill 11. The provincial law allows for doctors in Alberta to perform some medical services in both in the public and private health care systems. Speaking at the conference is lawyer Emma Phillips, along with representatives from the Canadian Health Coalition, Alberta’s Friends of Medicare, and Canadian Doctors for Medicare.
