Après 15 ans à Ottawa, Alexandre Boulerice tourne la page sur un chapitre de sa vie politique et quitte le Nouveau Parti démocratique pour se lancer sur la scène provinciale québécoise avec le parti progressiste Québec solidaire. Dernier élu néo-démocrate au Québec depuis 2019 et figure marquante de la vague orange de 2011, il affirme « rentrer à la maison » en rejoignant une formation alignée avec ses convictions progressistes et souverainistes. Marc-André Cossette s’entretient avec lui sur cette transition politique.
