MPs comment on possible social media ban for youth, sovereign wealth fund – April 28, 2026

MPs speak with reporters on Parliament Hill as they convene for the daily question period in the House of Commons.

Liberal MPs Sean Casey, Leslie Church Ben Carr, Taleeb Noormohamed and Yasir Naqvi, Conservative MPs Melissa Lantsman, Ted Falk and Scott Aitchison, as well as NDP MP Gord Johns respond to questions on the possibility of legislation that would restrict the use of social media platform for youth under the age of 16.
