Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre holds a news conference on Parliament Hill. He is joined by Conservative MPs Tako Van Popta and Chak Au. Poilievre announces that Au will lead a new party caucus focusing on Canada’s possible economic opportunities in the Asia Pacific region and that Van Popta will head off a new party task force on property rights.

The Conservative leader faces questions from reporters on the Carney government’s approach to CUSMA renewal trade talks with the Trump administration.
