New Senate Bill Aims to Expand Recognition of Canadian veterans

Last week, a new bill was introduced in the upper chamber. Sponsored by Senator Hassan Yussuff, the Wartime Service Recognition Act would recognize the “wartime service” of Canadians who have served on military missions since the Korean War and, if passed, expand the definition of who qualifies as a “war veteran” in Canada.
