Storm’s Ander signs with BCIHL’s Vikes

David Ander of the Kamloops Storm has committed to play for the UVic Vikes in the B.C. Intercollegiate Hockey League next fall.

Ander, 20, had 22 points in 36 games, then added two points in six KIJHL Championship playoff games.

The Calgary native played 114 career KIJHL regular season games with 25 goals, 48 assists for 73 points. The 6-0, 180-pound forward began his KIJHL career with the Revelstoke Grizzlies in 2023-24 and had 32 points in 36 games, then added eight points in 15 playoff games. He was traded to the Storm following that season. Ander played in 31 career playoff games, collecting 15 points with 66 penalty minutes.
